This Sunday, April 14, Peter Tolkin will participate in a panel discussion at the J. Paul Getty Museum with historian Catherine Gudis, photographer-sociologist Camilo José Vergara, and Executive Director of the California Historical Society, Anthea M. Hartig. Moderated by Peter Tokofsky of the Getty, the panel “How Do We Reinvent Spaces?” will explore the tug of war between the designer’s vision and the way homes, offices, and public spaces are actually used. Presented by Zócalo Public Square and the Getty, and one of the many events of Pacific Standard Time Presents: Modern Architecture in L.A., the panel is part of a half-day conference that explores the impact of architecture on the present and future.
