Mabel O. Wilson and Peter Tolkin’s collaborative vehicle, SideProjectx NY/LA, has recently co-curated the digital exhibition WAR_FRONT_HOME_FRONT, as part of artist Jan Tichy’s year-long exhibition, 1979:1 – 2012:21: Jan Tichy Works with the MoCP Collection, opening tonight at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago.

SideProjectx NY/LA’s digital exhibition, which features works from the museum’s collection of more than 12,000 images and objects, will be shown in the Cornerstone Window Gallery installed on the façade of the museum on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Harrison Street, as a new way for the community to access and engage with the artworks housed at the MoCP. SideProjectx NY/LA many past projects has included the exhibition Listening There: Stories from Ghana as well as an issue of the New City Reader.
